There are few moments more meaningful in a student’s academic journey than graduation. At The Barrett School at Destin, this year’s Commencement Ceremony—happening on May 16th—will be a heartfelt celebration of growth, perseverance, and community.

Families, teachers, and classmates will gather on campus to honor the PreK4, Kindergarten, 5th, and 8th Grade graduates of the Class of 2025. With sunshine in the forecast and pride in our hearts, our school community will come together to celebrate not only academic milestones but the unique stories and hard work of each graduate.
As students take the stage, this moment will mark more than a ceremony—it will symbolize years of curiosity nurtured, friendships formed, and lessons learned both in and out of the classroom. These students have grown through hands-on STEM experiences, outdoor discovery, and a learning model that supports both neurotypical and neurodivergent minds. At Barrett, we believe every child thrives when given the freedom to explore both innovation and nature.

Our graduates will leave us not just with knowledge, but with confidence. From coding and robotics to climbing and writing, they are ready to take on the world—with boldness, integrity, and joy.

This graduation promises to be more than a send-off—it will be a reflection of The Barrett School’s mission: to nurture the whole child and prepare each student to thrive in both the digital world and the natural one.
Congratulations in advance to the Class of 2025!Your hive is already buzzing with pride. Wherever your journey leads next, you'll always have a home at Barrett.
