Odyssey of the Mind

An international program where students solve open-ended, hands-on problems. Students design mechanical devices, build structures, and write performances while developing teamwork, budgeting, and creative problem-solving skills.
Aerospace Club
Mon / Wed / Fri · Grades 5–8
Students learn how aircraft engineering works by studying real aircraft from this year’s International Aerial Review, then immediately test the same ideas through a safe, instructor-led drone flight lab. Every meeting connects one aerospace concept to one practical drone mission.
The Buzz School Newspaper

The Buzz exists to inform, inspire, and celebrate The Barrett School by producing high-quality student journalism. Through writing, photography, design, interviewing, and digital media, students develop communication, leadership, collaboration, and critical-thinking skills while documenting life at our STEAM-driven educational institution.
Theater Club
Mon / Wed / Fri · Grades 2–8
Students explore the exciting world of theater through acting, improvisation, storytelling, stage movement, and performance. Club members build confidence, creativity, communication, and teamwork while preparing scenes and performances in a fun, supportive environment.
